Study Proves Regular Intake of VCO Increase Libido

A research study done by a team of doctors from the University of Sto.Tomas (UST) confirmed that regular consumption of virgin coconut oil (VCO) can increase one’s sexual activity. The UST study was commissioned by the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA).

So for those who are looking for ways to increase their libido, taking a minimum of three tablespoons of VCO a day may be the answer.

The positive result of the study was announced by Philippine’s Agriculture Secretary, Proceso Alcala during a press conference held at the PCA on February 2012. The announcement was made in the presence of the UST doctors, Reynaldo Gabriel Naranjilla, C. A. Binag and Bobby Santiago, PCA Administrator Euclides G. Forbes, and PCA public information officer Thelma Tolentino.

The Agriculture department and the PCA are hoping that since many Filipinos are interested to increase their libido, this development would increase the demand in coconut products.

The said pres conference also tackled the plan for massive coconut replanting. The DA and the PCA allotted an estimate of Php900 million massive coconut planting or replanting and fertilization program nationwide. Apparently compared to 2010, the earnings from coconut exports in 2011 increased by 20.28%.
